Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of recent acute-care experience in providing radiologic services to:
- Emergency Department patients
- Inpatient individuals
- Outpatient clients
- Operating Room patients
To be considered, candidates must have:
- An active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification (preferred)
- A QuantiFERON-TB Gold or T-SPOT test completed within the last year
- Documentation of MMR and Varicella immunity via positive titers or vaccination records
- A physical examination conducted within the past year
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:
- Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures as per physician orders and facility protocols
- Generate precise, high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity during each procedure
- Effectively operate and maintain radiologic equipment
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Deliver professional and compassionate care in a dynamic acute-care setting
