Clinical Compliance Coordinator

$27.58 - $29.12 per hour

Clinical Compliance Coordinator The M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Compliance Coordinator to work in Villanova, PA on a part‑time, 12‑month schedule of 20 hours per week. The Coordinator will collaborate with the Clinical Compliance Administrator to execute compliance processes, ensuring nursing students and faculty meet the requirements of clinical partners, Villanova University, and the State Board of Nursing. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Responsibilities Monitors student and faculty health, background check, drug screen, licensing, and certification requirements, and proactively communicates with non‑compliant individuals to ensure completion. Corresponds with clinical partners and preceptors concerning verification of requirements and details of clinical placements. Completes and submits multiple agency‑specific compliance verifications for upcoming clinical rotations per contractual agreements. Assists with gathering documentation related to medical exemptions, vaccine refusals, and positive drug screens; refers cases requiring interpretation or exceptions to the Clinical Compliance Administrator. Collaborates with the Clinical Compliance Administrator and communicates with DISA Healthcare Technologies for the Complio system to monitor clinical requirements and resolve system issues. Manages the Compliance email account by responding to inquiries and notifying nursing students and faculty of compliance requirements and deadlines. Provides instructions to students and faculty for Complio, including account creation, package ordering, and documentation submission procedures. Troubleshoots issues with requirements and compliance package ordering through the online system. Supports the compliance tracking system by assisting users, troubleshooting submission issues, and implementing system updates as directed by the Clinical Compliance Administrator. Performs routine audits of student and faculty compliance and maintains confidentiality of all documentation. Escalates non‑compliance and complex cases to the Clinical Compliance Administrator. Qualifications Formal Education – Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum Work Experience – Minimum two years in a business or academic environment; strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently under time constraints; manage large volumes of confidential information; critical thinking to appropriately escalate sensitive compliance issues; strong organizational and problem‑solving skills; professional demeanor and excellent customer service; team player; willingness to learn to interpret health‑related, drug‑screening, and background check reports; administrative skills and office operations preferably in an academic setting; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); working knowledge of Banner, Zoom, Teams, Complio and other systems. Preferred Qualifications – Experience with student record systems and Excel; Bachelor of Science in Nursing; knowledge of background screening, immunization and vaccination requirements, tuberculin skin testing, blood assays such as QuantiFERON‑TB Gold, drug testing protocols, and CPR certification standards required for healthcare settings; experience escalating sensitive compliance issues appropriately. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed to meet clinical deadlines. Salary: $27.58–$29.12 per hour (Hourly Grade 12).
