Project Engineer Intern

Project Engineer InternRyan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Engineer Intern. This position is available as a summer internship running from May to August.Some things you can expect to do:Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.To succeed in this role, you must have:A high school diploma or equivalentBe pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely related fieldAble to work 40 hours per weekYou will really standout if you:Have at least one summer of construction work experienceHave a general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methodsCan perform mathematical calculationsCan read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawingsStrong written and verbal communication skillsEligibility:Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.Compensation:The hourly wage is $20-$25/ hour.
