Summary:

Perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration before and after each exam.

• Accurately completes all necessary documentation and charges in a timely manner.

• Create accurate preliminary impressions based on the findings of the ultrasound examination, providing initial interpretations to assist the physician in diagnosis.

• Review patient history and practitioner orders to ensure the correct imaging procedure is performed.

• Must have current RDMS or RCS credentials or must be eligible to take RDMS/RCS at time of hire and must pass within 12 months of hire.
