Physical Therapist Assistant

Seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dedicated home care team. Responsibilities include following state laws and treatment plans set by supervising PT, performing patient exercises, muscle re-education, gait and ADL training, and ensuring patient safety. The role involves observing patient responses, documenting progress, and coordinating care with healthcare team members. The PTA instructs patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques within scope of practice. Qualifications Current license or certification to practice physical therapy assistance, CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Must be adaptable to various home environments and willing to work a weekend rotation. Preferred Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, transferring, and mobility assistance. Compensation Target annual pay ranges from $52,417 to $78,625, with hourly rates from $25.20 to $37.80. Benefits Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentives, 401k, and stock purchase options.
