Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $130K - $185K + bonus + equity About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to become the first analytics hire at a fast-growing, data-driven technology company operating in the AI infrastructure space. In this role, you will own the data foundation end-to-end , working closely with leadership to define key metrics, build dashboards, and generate insights that directly influence business decisions. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position with a clear path to growth into a leadership role. Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and maintain core business metrics and KPIs
- Develop dashboards and reporting using BI tools (Hex, Metabase, PostHog)
- Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Partner with technical teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Identify and resolve data quality and debugging issues
- Support decision-making across product, operations, and leadership
- Help establish and scale the company's data analytics function from scratch
- 4-8 years of experience in data analytics (startup experience preferred)
- Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis
- Experience with data quality, debugging, and validation processes
- Hands-on experience with BI and dashboarding tools
- Ability to work with technical teams and understand complex systems
- Strong communication skills - able to explain data insights clearly
- Experience in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, or technical platforms
- Exposure to data engineering or pipeline development
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments
- High attention to detail and an ownership mindset
- First analytics hire with full ownership and impact
- Work directly with leadership on critical business decisions
