- Education
- High school education or equivalent. Must have completed Servsafe Certification or enroll once hired.
- Experience
- Food service supervisory experience in food service preferred.
- Physical
- This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
- Normal food service environment. Occasional exposure to heat, steam and cold. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Distinguish smells and tastes. Distinguish temperature by touch and proximity. Uses telephone, computer, copier and department equipment. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking and reaching.

- JOB SUMMARY
- The Coffee Shoppe/1900 Market Supervisor is responsible for: Supervising day to day activities of the staff and operations of both coffee shops and assures compliance with hospital policies and procedures, missions and standards. Assigns duties and responsibly directs staff. Utilizes checklist to ensure cleaning and stocking are complete. Must communicate effectively with staff and customers. This position is required to utilize independent judgement.
