Under direct supervision/guidance, compiles, analyzes, and reports operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials. Your responsibilities will include: Undertake and successfully complete simple or basic project/product development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications; maintaining product/process documentation; testing processes, equipment, raw materials, and product; and validating equipment and processes May assist in inventing/creating concepts and designs/approaches for new products/processes/test methodsDesign, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixturesDesign and coordinate rudimentary engineering tests and experimentsApply the Technical Development Process (TDP)/Product Development Process (PDP) methodologiesPrepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical communityComplete basic tasks on engineering documentationTrain technicians/operators on new processes and/or test proceduresIdentify areas for improvement, suggest solutions, and submit idea recordsRequired qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical EngineeringExperience with medical device industry standards Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization3 months experience in Research and Development focused on Interventional Oncology and EmbolizationPrior internship or co-op experience with Boston ScientificPreferred qualifications: Strong communications and time management abilities computer aided design proficiency in SolidWorksRequisition ID: 634072Minimum Salary: $ 59900Maximum Salary: $ 113800The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
