CNA Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care and support to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include: Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility

Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges under the direction of nursing staff

Assist nurses with treatments and resident care as directed

Support restorative and rehabilitation programs with appropriate instruction and supervision

Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team

Protect resident privacy, dignity, and rights

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents

Work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team

Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines

Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and professionalism

Perform other duties as assigned

CNA Qualifications

Current, valid Florida CNA license required

Current CPR certification

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond appropriately to resident needs

Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
