Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatrics (RT PEDS) — located in Newport, Vermont. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients within a critical access hospital setting. The role is scheduled for night shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., three days per week, supporting a community known for outdoor recreation and a peaceful lifestyle.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; located in or willing to work in Newport, Vermont; and able to work night shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: This role requires attendance at department quarterly education sessions. Candidates will support a community emphasizing outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, with limited public transportation, so personal transportation is strongly recommended.
- Responsibilities: Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients, contribute to patient care team, and support departmental education initiatives.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to adhere to the application protocol and be prepared to start by 11/02/2026, with the assignment concluding on 04/19/2027.
