Certified Nursing Assistant
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work at a facility in Oxford, MS. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $19 - 20 / hour *W2
Shifts Available:
- 7A-330P
- 3P-1130P
- 11P-730A
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of MS
- Includes active RN/LPN/CNA license, background check within 2 years (felony convictions prohibit employment), OIG exclusion search, TB testing up to date (within 12 months), up to date CPR certification, driver's license/social security card, COVID vaccination record (not mandatory, but encouraged).
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history
- Update and maintain all client records
- Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
