Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and productivity.
Schedule and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance Supervisors, and Planners to establish maintenance priorities and schedules.
Monitor maintenance backlog and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Coordinate contractor and vendor activities, including scheduling, site access, and work execution.
Ensure required materials, parts, permits, tools, and equipment are available for scheduled work.

Generate maintenance reports, KPIs, and equipment performance metrics.
Assist with outage, turnaround, and capital project planning activities.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment files, inspection documentation, and compliance reports.
Support root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
Conduct field visits to verify job scope, monitor work progress, and inspect completed work.
Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client safety policies.
Support continuous improvement efforts focused on maintenance efficiency, cost reduction, and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma or GED.
3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, planning, scheduling, or coordination.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or rotating equipment maintenance.
Experience using CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar maintenance software. [Job Description | Word], [Planner Description | Word]
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or related field.
Experience supporting refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Familiarity with planning and scheduling methodologies.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in both office and industrial field environments.
Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and conducting field inspections.
Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and flame-resistant clothing.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and plant environments.
