You will join our Packaging Systems Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.Assume responsibility for all aspects of project execution including line layout engineering, mechanical design, vendor/contractor management, estimation, justification, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, budgeting, site management, integration, implementation, acquisition, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting, in compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulationsConduct yourself with integrity in pursuit of individual and business goalsBecome a passionate and successful business family memberDevelop equipment design and specifications, design equipment support systems, and handle bid analysesLead communications with vendors (OEMs) and contractors to implement innovative automation solutionsProvide engineering solutions for continuous improvement objectives using industry standard tools and procedures (change control, ROIs)Evaluate existing packaging operations and drive projects in order to provide immediate ROI and improve productivityIdentify and specify required tooling and/or packaging equipment within designated timelinesMaintain and grow solid client relationshipsConvert information into project documentation and manage integration of packaging automation lines Lead project teamsProcure equipment and develop material handlings methodsManage vendors and contractorsMake an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and teamThe ability to successfully organize and execute multiple project responsibilitiesSolid communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with management, clients, and vendorsStrong analytical skills and a basic understanding of project management fundamentalsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCADCo-op or project experience with packaging lines, automation, or manufacturing applications (preferred)Co-op or project experience in the food, dairy, high speed beverage/brewery, pharmaceutical, or consumer products environments (preferred)A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventionsA bachelor of science in mechanical or chemical engineering, or a related technical degreeOur culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
