Job Description

Title: Physiatrist 

Location: Pensacola, FL

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist with experience in managing patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and chronic conditions. The physiatrist will be responsible for providing rehab and pain consults in an IRF setting, including trigger points and joint injections. 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions 
\n

• Develop and implement treatment plans 
\n

\n
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress 
\n

\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care 
\n

\n
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families 
\n

\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records 
\n

\n
• Participate in continuing education and professional development 
\n

Requirements: 

\n
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physiatry 
\n

\n
• Valid medical license in Pensacola, FL 
\n

\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
\n

\n
• Ability to work well in a team environment 
\n

\n
• Commitment to patient-centered care 
\n

\n
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload 
\n

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
\n

\n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
\n

\n
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
\n

\n
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirements.
\n

\n
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
\n
