Position Overview

The Wellness Care Psychological Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists, specifically LMFTs, LPCs, or LCSWs, to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote position, you will play a critical role in supporting clients through various mental health challenges, promoting emotional well-being, and facilitating recovery in an outpatient setting.

Work Environment

This role is structured to be 100% remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from home while participating in a collaborative virtual environment. While you’ll primarily work independently, you will also be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer-support specialists, fostering a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new and existing patients to accurately gauge their needs, making sure to gather detailed histories and patient-centered insights.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, effectively adapting these techniques to suit each client’s unique context.
  • Lead psychoeducational and support groups, offering patients the opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences, and learn effective coping strategies for common mental health issues.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services, equipping clients with immediate support options during moments of acute distress.
  • Collaborate regularly with team members in case consultations, ensuring that care remains holistic and integrated, while continuously exchanging ideas and best practices.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions and collaboratively explore treatment options to encourage proactive engagement in their care.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation practices by utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
  • Stay updated with ongoing professional development and the latest research in mental health therapy to implement progressive techniques in your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at Wellness Care Psychological Center, you will work with a diverse client base experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Our practice promotes inclusivity and an understanding of culturally competent mental health delivery, enabling you to enhance the therapeutic experience for each individual.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Proven experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective, patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy to a variety of populations, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient empowerment and advocacy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries.
  • Proficiency in accessing and utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • At least two years of experience in direct mental health counseling, preferably within an outpatient setting.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and best practices for remote therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
