Dermatology Nurse Practitioner

Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP)An established, physician-owned dermatology practice in Arkansas is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to staff its expanding second clinical office.Operating entirely outpatient with no hospital affiliation requirements, this position offers high operational independence alongside the direct mentorship of a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. You will manage an active outpatient patient volume, conducting skin evaluations, medical dermatology treatments, and routine procedural care in a supportive, multi-site clinic setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide independent outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and medical treatment for a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions at the designated second clinic sitePerform routine dermatologic procedures, including skin biopsies, lesion evaluations, cryotherapy, and minor excisionsConduct comprehensive full-body skin examinations, cancer screenings, and patient preventative educationManage daily patient volume autonomously while collaborating with the supervising physician as needed for complex casesMaintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in the practice EMRPartner with dedicated clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient experiencesQualifications:Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Arkansas (or eligible for immediate state licensure); clean background with no adverse regulatory or criminal historyMust have been formally trained under a Board Certified Dermatologist (MD/DO who completed an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency)Minimum 1 to 2 years of dedicated dermatology practice experience requiredDemonstrated ability to practice independently and manage clinic workflows effectively when the supervising physician is off-siteBenefits Package:Strong base salary structure paired with an uncapped 10% collections bonus incentive$5,000 – $10,000 dedicated relocation assistance package availableEmployer-subsidized Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plansEmployer-sponsored 401(k) retirement savings plan through John HancockGenerous PTO package, dedicated CME time off, and paid holiday coverageNote on Compensation: Final compensation terms will be tailored based on candidate clinical experience, procedural efficiency, and background.Note on Hiring Requirements: All offers are strictly contingent upon the successful completion of standard pre-employment credentialing, Arkansas state licensure verification, active DEA confirmation, and background checks.If you are an experienced Dermatology NP seeking a high-autonomy role with physician mentorship in Arkansas, we would love to connect with you!
