The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our attorneys across various practice areas, including civil litigation, commercial litigation, corporate litigation, and construction defect matters. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of tasks, from managing complex filings and documentation to assisting with discovery and trial preparation. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of state and federal electronic filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs with meticulous attention to detail. Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive summaries of relevant case law and statutes. Assist attorneys with discovery requests, responses, and depositions. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring efficient document management. Prepare trial exhibits and presentations, anticipating attorney needs and providing proactive support. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Stay abreast of changes in legal procedures and relevant case law. Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and supervisors. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in a fast-paced law firm environment. Proven expertise in state and federal e-filing systems and procedures. Strong drafting and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
