Serve as a trusted advocate and resource for students, staff, and families, helping to address barriers to learning while fostering positive school communities. As an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work closely with educators and families to develop interventions, coordinate services, and support individual student growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Social Worker license
• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
• Previous school-based experience preferred; experience with IEPs is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with students of varying ages and diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support to students
• Assess student needs and collaborate on IEP development and implementation
• Engage families and connect them with community resources as needed
• Work with educators and administration to implement positive behavioral supports
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings
• Advocate for students’ needs and participate in ongoing professional development
