Electrician II

Industrial Electrician

JSW Steel is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical and electronic equipment throughout the Steel Mill.

Primary Duties:

• Collaborate with electrical repair personnel, operations staff, and maintenance teams to analyze equipment issues and minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with operating personnel to resolve equipment problems and improve system performance.
• Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment across the facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all plant electrical and electronic systems.
• Maintain adequate supplies of electrical and electronic parts, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit reports on equipment condition, required repairs, and replacement needs.
• Report unresolved issues or changes in equipment or operating methods to the Electrical Lead.
• Train and instruct personnel on electrical hazards and proper electrical and electronic safety procedures.
• Follow all company, federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations.
• Attend training programs, classes, meetings, or seminars as scheduled or recommended by management.
• Accept additional responsibilities or assignments as directed by management.

Experience:

Required:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, electrician, or electronic technician. Experience working with industrial electrical and electronic systems.
