Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriateness and safety
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and inventory
• Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS)
• Active Pharmacist License in the State of Practice
