Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position located in Webster, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill neonatal patients, supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality pediatric intensive care in a dedicated neonatal unit. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and family-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in STABLE and experience with central lines such as UAC, UVC, broviacs, and PICC.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling procedures such as IV starts and PICC insertions (trained clinicians). The role requires working with neonatal equipment including isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, and electronic medical records systems like Meditech and CPNT. The unit has a staffing profile of approximately 10-15 RNs and 1 PCT per shift, with a staffing ratio of 1-3 patients per nurse depending on acuity.
