SWE - Senior Software Engineer, AI Infrastructure

Our client, an AI-driven organization, is hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will design and build large-scale systems that enable AI to run quickly, securely and reliably in production, contributing to a transformative platform that reimagines how organizations build internal software and helps define the future of SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale untrusted code execution environments with secure sandboxing.

• Develop and operate massively parallel AI agent runtimes and scheduling systems.

• Architect and maintain multi-cloud and customer VPC deployment models.

• Build highly reliable distributed systems with strict security and data integrity guarantees.

• Implement deep observability across AI workflows and underlying infrastructure.

• Create and evolve enterprise-grade integration and metadata platforms.

Skillset

• Strong foundation in distributed systems, scalability, multi-cloud architecture and security.

• Practical experience with operating systems, containers, Kubernetes, cloud networking and event-driven runtimes such as Knative or KEDA.

• A passion for creating simple, elegant solutions to complex systems challenges.

• Demonstrated experience designing, building and operating large-scale infrastructure.

• A strong zero-to-one mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous problem spaces.
