Overnight Wholesale Bagel Baker

Broad Street Bagel Co. — 3 Positions Available

Come join our overnight baking team!

We’re looking for three reliable, hardworking people to help us produce fresh bagels and pastries each night for our locations and wholesale customers.

If you enjoy working with your hands, being part of a team, and taking pride in seeing a night’s work come together by morning, this could be a great fit.

This is a high-production commercial bakery , so it’s important to know that this is not a hobby baking position. Our overnight crew produces a large volume of bagels every night, and everyone works together to keep production moving while maintaining the quality and consistency our customers expect.

What you’ll be doing:

• Boiling, seeding, and baking fresh bagels
• Baking off pastries and other bakery items
• Working alongside our overnight team to complete production
• Following production sheets, recipes, and order quantities
• Packaging and organizing wholesale orders
• Keeping your workspace and bakery equipment clean and organized
• Helping make sure everything is finished and ready to go in the morning
• Occasionally assisting with morning bagel deliveries when needed

Who we’re looking for:

You don’t need to be an experienced bagel baker to apply. We’re happy to train the right person who comes in ready to work, learn, and be part of the team.

Experience making bagel dough is a plus, but it is not required.

Commercial bakery, restaurant, kitchen, or other high-volume food production experience is also a plus.

Because this is a team environment, we’re especially looking for people who are dependable, positive, work well with others, and are comfortable with the pace of a busy production bakery.

You should also be comfortable being on your feet and safely lifting bags of flour and other bakery supplies.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to help with morning bagel deliveries is a plus, but not required.

If you’re dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and would like to learn the craft of making great bagels while working with a solid overnight crew, we’d love to hear from you.
