Vet Student Extern - Hands-on General Practice

Abqpetcarehospital offers a unique externship experience for veterinary students in Town of Hempstead, New York. During this externship, students will work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians at South Shore Animal Hospital to gain hands-on clinical experience. Externships range from two to eight weeks and include a stipend of $500 for travel and living expenses. This opportunity allows students to develop various skills, including patient management, diagnostics, surgery assistance, and client communication.
