Job Summary Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at a apartment community in Boston, MA. The Maintenance Technician role involves effective and careful evaluation of a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of the property. Responsibilities Electrical Plumbing HVAC Appliance Repair Locks & Keys Basic Carpentry Painting and Drywall Repair Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal Cleaning Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas; Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED; Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience. Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal. Solid computer skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to take initiative and be a self‑starter. On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays. Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner. Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position.
