Contracts Administrator

Talascend is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona . Overview The position supports a special "Re-Rate Proposal" project as part of a project team, primarily working in person at an offsite location to assess proposal contractual provisions, review impacted contractual terms, and facilitate approval processes related to contractual terms. The role may also include assisting in bid preparations and negotiations, with a focus on risk management. Responsibilities Support the project team in assessing proposal contractual provisions. Review impacted contractual terms related to the re-rate project and ensure compliance with company clause playbooks and knowledge bases. Obtain approvals for the proposal process as related to contractual terms. Assist in the preparation of bids and negotiate specifications and contractual provisions. Evaluate scope, value, contract type, and end-user considerations in negotiations. Work in person at the specified offsite location with management and contract teammates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. At least 4-6 years of experience as a contracts professional. Experience in the Defense and Space industry preferred. Familiarity with standard contracting terms, concepts, practices, and procedures within commercial and government contracts. Motivated, self-reliant, dependable, and able to work independently.
