Seeking a dietician to primarily cover adult inpatient units (ages 18 and older) and help support the team while new staff is trained. The position will be based mainly at Moses Cone, although there may be opportunities to provide support at other campuses as needed. The patient population is diverse and includes individuals with varying disease states, as well as patients requiring tube feeding and TPN management.

*Minimum 1 year in a acute care inpatient setting experience required. *RECENT LARGE FACILITY INPATIENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Will consider a minimum of 200 bed facility exp if all other reqs met. First time travelers and LOCALS - OK!*

*BLS*State License - RD*Typical diagnoses in acute care hospital. Heart failure, HBP, DM, Stroke, trauma, ortho, oncology, renal failure, GI issues, CAD, COPD, respiratory failure, etc.*Med ICU, CV ICU, Neuro ICU, PICU Progressive care units, medical and surgical units, Rehabilitation unit, orthopedic unit, pediatric unit, Obstetrics, Neonatal ICU*CMO, ventilators, Cortrak tube placement service, etc.

Looking for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with strong clinical experience, must be competent in Nutrition Focused Physical Exam, identification of characteristics of malnutrition, good communication skills. Well-organized and focused, efficient but does not feel volume of work is most important. Quality and accuracy are important.
