AboutthePosition JMMechanicalislookingforan AssistantProjectManager(APM) tojoinourProjectManagement&Operationsteam. TheAssistantProjectManagerworksalongsideProjectManagers,ProjectExecutives,andfieldleadershiptohelpkeepcommercialHVACprojectsorganized,onschedule,andwithinbudget.Thisisahands‑onopportunitytolearntheconstructionprojectmanagementprocesswhilegainingexperienceinprojectcoordination,scheduling,BIM/Revit,materials,costtracking,andfieldoperations. WhatYou'llDo AssistProjectManagersandProjectExecutiveswithplanningandcoordinatingcommercialHVACprojects. Supportprojectscheduling,milestonetracking,anddailyprojectactivities. Workwithfieldforemenandcrewstohelpkeepprojectsonscheduleandmeetingexpectations. Assistwith RevitandStratus drafting,3Dmodeling,shopdrawings,andprojectupdates. HelpcoordinateHVACdesignswithothertradesandidentifypotentialconflictsbeforeinstallation. Assistwithmaterialtake-offs,equipmentcounts,andprocurement. Trackequipmentandmaterialdeliveriestoensurecrewshavewhattheyneedwhentheyneedit. Monitorlaborproductivityandprojectcostsagainstestablishedbudgets. AssistwithsubmittalsandRequestsforInformation(RFIs). Helpmaintainprojectdocumentation,dailylogs,meetingminutes,progressreports,andotherprojectrecords. SupportProjectManagerswithbilling,changeorders,scheduling,andotherprojectneeds. Communicatewithprojectteams,engineers,architects,vendors,andotherprojectstakeholders. Identifyopportunitiestoimproveprojectworkflowsandefficiency. WhatWe’reLookingFor We'relookingforsomeonewhoisorganized,dependable,detail-oriented,andeagertolearn. Idealcandidateswillhave: Adegree,technicaleducation,orrelevantexperienceinconstructionmanagement,engineering,HVAC,drafting,orarelatedfield. Strongorganizationalandtime-managementskills. Goodwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. Strongattentiontodetailandproblem-solvingability. Basiccomputerskillsandtheabilitytolearnnewsoftwareandsystems. Theabilitytoworkeffectivelywithbothofficeandfieldteams. AwillingnesstolearnconstructionprocessesandcommercialHVACoperations. WhyJoinJMMechanical?
