TREO is seeking a skilled full-time Lead Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in New Orleans, LA.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM .
As a Lead Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will spend approximately 80% of your time performing hands-on technical work and 20% of your time handling administrative and leadership responsibilities. You will perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment while ensuring all work meets HSSE standards and company procedures. You will lead, guide, and support mechanics during maintenance and repair activities, maintain effective communication with supervisors, operators, and team members, and help uphold high safety, quality, and operational standards. Throughout the day, you will use CMMS systems, preferably MAXIMO, to document work orders, record parts usage, update maintenance history, and complete data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
LEAD MOBILE HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance
Experience with CMMS systems, preferably MAXIMO
OSHA 30 certification
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Basic to intermediate computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks
Strong commitment to HSSE compliance and safe work practices
Ability to lead, guide, and support mechanics during maintenance and repair activities
Strong communication skills
