Job Schedule: 9/80- Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is seeking an individual to serve as a Finance Senior Associate in the Force Protection Product Line. The candidate will serve as a key member of the Force Protection team, directly supporting the Finance Manager in developing business strategies and executing operational plans. The candidate will support the finance function in forecast modeling; orders-to-cash processing; financial reporting; validation of Actuals from financial systems; and support of monthly closing activities. Essential Functions: Tracking, monitoring, and analyzing cost performance on programs Proactively work with Program Management and the project team in supporting the programs' financial performance and requirements Creating and maintaining projects within Deltek Cobra and PeopleSoft financial systems, consistently in accordance with company procedure Supports the creation of time-phased project baseline budgets for performance measurement and maintenance throughout the project Supports the maintenance of the financial forecasts: Estimates at Completion (EACs), working with the project team as needed to obtain inputs to meet deadlines Provide predictive analysis to inform Program Management of risks and opportunities prior to realization and drive enterprise efficiencies Other special projects as directed by management such as reconciliations, cleanup of migrated or closed projects, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with a financial ERP system, such as PeopleSoft, CostPoint, Oracle, or SAP Experience in interpreting financial models and collaborate on execution of plans Preferred Additional Skills: Ability to build collaborative relationships, earn trust, and thrive in a diverse environment Effective interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment Experience with Firm-Fixed-Price production, cost-plus, and maintenance contracts Knowledge of government funding profiles, sales outlook and variance analysis preferred Experience with HypFcst / Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus
