We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for managing our financial data and ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, you will play an integral role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, including accounts payable (AP) and general ledger (GL) reconciliations.
• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and laws.
• Coordinating and completing annual audits, providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs and investments.
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures, ensuring the highest level of integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborating with financial staff to ensure the smooth operation of all finance matters, identifying and resolving financial issues and discrepancies.
• Keeping up-to-date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on AP and GL reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and experience with a software system implementation.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and manage financial reports and forecasts.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
