Occupational Therapist - School
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a school-based assignment in Redding, CA, open to new grads and candidates with a pending CA license.
School-based occupational therapy assignment serving school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of a Redding office.
Pediatric and school-aged client population.
Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00am-5:00pm).
Responsibilities include schedule planning across multiple school sites, evaluations, and treatment program design and implementation.
Bachelor's degree required.
Current CA Occupational Therapist license required (pending license accepted) if applicable.
Valid Driver's License required.
BLS certification required.
NBCOT certification preferred.
New graduates accepted; no prior experience required.
Experience with autism, cerebral palsy, early intervention, handwriting, sensory diet programs, and sensory integrative testing/treatment preferred.
Mileage and travel time reimbursed.
Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
Preference for candidates available for the entire school year.
Position may involve traveling between four school sites within Shasta county.
Hours per week: 40.
Hours per shift: 8.
