Electric Motor MechanicIndianapolis, Indiana, United StatesJob Summary:Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment (AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)Utilize tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurementConduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassemblyPerform in-house and on-site repairs; follow OEM, EASA, and customer specificationsMaintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checksRequires 13 years of experience or relevant training (EASA/military)Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practices at a skilled trades levelMust Have:Industrial Electric Motor Experience (not automotive motors)Motor Mechanic ExperienceNice to Have:Winding experienceISO 9001
