Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Hyperscience Developer with strong Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Python experience to build, enhance, and support document automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring Hyperscience pipelines, improving document extraction accuracy, and integrating IDP solutions with enterprise applications and downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and develop Hyperscience pipelines for document ingestion, classification, extraction, validation, and exception handling.
• Build and tune document extraction solutions using templates, rules, and ML-assisted approaches.
• Improve extraction accuracy, confidence scores, and straight-through processing rates.
• Develop Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, validation utilities, API integrations, troubleshooting, and analysis.
• Integrate Hyperscience with enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, SFTP/file drops, queues, RPA, and workflow/case management platforms.
• Design and implement human-in-the-loop review processes, including field-level validations and QA sampling.
• Develop and maintain test datasets, regression test packs, and validation processes.
• Support application releases and environment promotion across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Monitor production performance and troubleshoot IDP-related issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement continuous improvements to extraction and document processing workflows.
• Create and maintain solution documentation, technical configurations, runbooks, and operational handoff documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand document-processing requirements and translate them into extraction logic and validation rules.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of overall software development or IT experience.
• Hands-on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) experience.
• 1 2+ years of hands-on Hyperscience development/configuration experience.
• Working knowledge of Python, including scripting, data handling, API consumption, and basic debugging.
• Strong understanding of OCR/ICR concepts.
• Experience with document classification, key-value extraction, table extraction, and exception workflows.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and standard SDLC practices.
• Understanding of testing, regression testing, environment promotion, and release processes.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with workflow or case management platforms such as ServiceNow, Pega, or Appian.
• Experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working with PII/PHI and security controls such as RBAC and audit logging.
• Experience operating IDP solutions at scale with high-volume document processing, SLAs, and performance monitoring.
