The clinic features a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote recovery and wellness. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, engaging directly with patients and collaborating with a team of experienced clinicians to deliver evidence-based care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of new patients to determine their needs and establish personalized treatment plans.Implement targeted interventions and rehabilitative exercises aimed at restoring function and improving patient outcomes.Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring quality time and attention for effective care delivery.Employ various orthopedic and manual therapy techniques to address patients' specific issues, focusing on non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.Educate patients about their conditions, correct movement patterns, and lifestyle modifications that enhance healing and promote long-term wellness.Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and facilitate referrals when appropriate.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software including WebPT for accurate documentation and to streamline patient management.Encourage and inspire patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering motivation and commitment to their recovery goals.Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic primarily serves a diverse clientele consisting of adults and athletes suffering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring treatments to their specific rehabilitation needs and goals, with a focus on restoring their optimal functionality.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.Proficient in various manual therapy methods and treatment techniques suitable for outpatient orthopedic care.Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred for maintaining organized patient records.Strong knowledge of current best practices in physical therapy, supported by the latest research findings.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly valued, especially within sports medicine facilities.Experience in treating conditions ranging from acute sports injuries to chronic pain management is a plus.Proficient in applying evidence-based interventions and staying updated with continuing education in orthopedic physical therapy.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
