Geriatrics Clinician-Educator

Location: Chicago, Illinois Job Overview The Division of Geriatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidate will engage in a geriatric primary care practice, home‑based primary care and consultation, outpatient geriatrics consults, inpatient teaching service, precepting residents, undergraduate medical education, and scholarly initiatives. Opportunities for quality improvement and collaboration with the Buehler Center on Aging, Institute for Public Health and Medicine, Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, and other departments are available. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include having a geriatric primary care practice, home-based primary care and consultation (e.g., house calls), outpatient geriatrics consults, attending on the inpatient teaching service, precepting residents on home care visits and outpatient settings, and participation in undergraduate medical education activities. Qualifications Qualified candidates will have their MD and be board certified in geriatric medicine. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
