Are you looking for a Client Facing Data Scientist role to help drive innovation in the fraud detection space?About the role: As a collaborative Data Scientist you will use and suggest new tools to optimize models and policies leveraging thousands of data points from a variety of LexisNexis Risk Solutions productions including ThreatMetrix, Emailage, BehavioSec, Fraud Intelligence, PhoneFinder and others on the Dynamic Decision Platform.About the team: This client facing team is driving evidence-based solutions to help our clients make more informed decisions and help mitigate risk and build trust for their customers.About the BusinessLexisNexis Risk Solutions provides customers with innovative technologies, information-based analytics, decisioning tools and data management services that help them solve problems, make better decisions, stay compliant, reduce risk and improve operations. Headquartered in metro-Atlanta, Georgia it operates within the Risk market segment of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers.ResponsibilitiesAnalytics: Use and suggest new tools and scripts to optimize models and policies leveraging thousands of data points from the ThreatMetrix Digital Identity Network as well as other LexisNexis Risk Solutions products on the Dynamic Decision Platform.Consulting: Scope, plan and deliver customer focused projects including proof of values, proactive analytics, go-lives, optimizations, and custom models.Innovation: Inspire and support research that further improves the capabilities and tools available within the team. (Recent examples include design of a globally adopted genetic algorithm, feature engineering over cellphone sensor data, centralized code repository, network analysis over UK banking industry). Experience with Git and Jira to help guide and scope these research projects are required.Presentation: Clearly explain complex patterns of behavior using data and models in a simple manner to non-technical audiences.Best Practice: Develop and maintain strong best practices for the team to further scale and grow and help streamline deliverables.Collaborate: Collaboration with LexisNexis Risk Solutions teams including Products, Engineering, Sales and your colleagues to continually share and redefine best practices and help shape and improve our products.What you’ll be doingStay ahead of the industry trends by continuously thinking of new ways to apply our tools and solutions to customer problems across different industries. Help the team by thinking outside the box.Scope, plan, and deliver on customer analytical requests. Help the team deliver complex analytics and difficult customer problemsUse your strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel and LUA plus quantitative skills to deliver insight which will help capture evolving fraudster behaviors. Ability to quickly learn about new tools to help the team with their deliverablesBe constantly curious and have strong problem-solving skills to help transform uncertainty into value-add opportunities for our customersUse your strong attention to detail and ability to craft a story through data, delivering industry-leading presentations for external and executive audiencesLeverage BI tools to identify and respond to anomalies and emerging industry trends (e.g. SuperSet, PowerBI, Snowflake, CoPilot, Jupyter)Build an extensive knowledge of cybercrime and become an SME for all industries that we support (Financial Services, E-commerce, Gaming, Telecommunications)Employ your multi-tasking and prioritization skills to excel in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing customer prioritiesLexisNexis Risk Solutions is supportive of women in Technology and has been a founding signature for the Tech Talent Charter. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $115,400 - $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
