Be one of the first to apply — offer rates tend to be higher at this stage Description American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring transition, postpartum, and newborn experience along with AWHONN fetal monitoring certification. Details Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room bed Unit staffed with CNC, RNs, Transition RN, Unit Secretary, and CST across day and night shifts Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 2:1 Uses GE Monitors, Panda Warmers, Novi, and Neptune equipment EMR systems include CPN and Meditech 13-week assignment on night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Every other weekend required Floating to Mother/Baby unit required Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required (intermediate or advanced), or NCCEFM accepted Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience required Transition, postpartum, and newborn experience required No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide care for laboring patients, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections Provide care for newly delivered mothers and their newborns Charge experience preferred but not required Best fit for team players who are motivated, independent, and flexible Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
