ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – BUFFALO WILD WINGS GO WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experienced and skilled General Manager to run the store effectively Must be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly Maintains constant contact with staff and customers Ensures highest quality customer service Monitors overall financial performance PEOPLE & LEADERSHIP Recruit and appraise staff Train and supervise staff Lead pre-shift meetings and daily huddles Motivate staff to meet sales targets OPERATIONS Manage high-volume shifts including peak game days and events Oversee food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance Manage kitchen operations, food prep standards, and quality control Oversee stock and pricing control Handle vendor relationships with food and beverage distributors Manage catering and large party/event bookings FINANCE & REPORTING Monitor food and labor cost percentages Oversee POS system, daily sales reporting, and cash handling Maximize profitability and productivity Set sales targets GUEST EXPERIENCE Set the tone for guest experience from arrival Handle customer complaints and queries Manage guest waitlist and reservations Handle comps, voids, and service recovery situations Manage online reviews and guest feedback on Yelp and Google BRAND & COMPLIANCE Coordinate with BWW corporate on brand standards and audits Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations Prepare promotional displays and materials Liaise with management REQUIREMENTS Commercial awareness Confidence and resourcefulness Strong organizational skills Teamworking and verbal communication skills Numerical and IT skills Enthusiasm and initiative Problem-solving and executive skills Leads by example ServSafe certification required Experience in high-volume casual dining or sports bar environment Proficiency with restaurant POS and technology systems Availability for nights, weekends, and major sporting events Knowledge of food and labor cost management IT ALL STARTED 35 YEARS AGO WITH TWO GUYS DRIVEN BY HUNGER The year was 1982.
