Toledo Family Medicine: Take Over Established Practices

Three Family Medicine Opportunities in the Metro Toledo, OH area Practice #1: One of the premier family practices in northwest Ohio, this well-established group has seven physicians and is located next to downtown Toledo. An established physician will be leaving, creating an opportunity to take over a full practice. All physicians and staff are employed by the Physicians Group, an affiliated service of the Hospital. Inpatient work is encouraged, though not required. Five physicians round on their patients; two use hospitalists. Salary and benefits are competitive. Practice #2: A privately‑owned family practice group with four physicians is located in southern Toledo. As one physician prepares to retire, the Hospital/Physicians Group is working with the practice to recruit a new physician to take over his complement of patients. This outpatient‑only practice uses hospitalists for inpatient care. The position will utilize an incubator employment model for two to three years, after which the physician would transition to private practice by joining the group. Salary and benefits are competitive. Practice #3: This privately‑owned family practice office is part of a multi‑office FP/Urgent Care practice covering two locations. The office is located in the western part of Toledo. It is an outpatient practice that utilizes hospitalists for inpatient care. The current patient load is 225–250 patients per week. Call coverage is one in five, covering both office locations and area nursing homes.
