The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, receiving, shipping, material handling, and warehouse operations. This role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, operating warehouse equipment safely, supporting quality control processes, and ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout the facility. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate / Warehouse Forklift Associate to support warehouse and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, receiving, shipping, material handling, and warehouse operations. This role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, operating warehouse equipment safely, supporting quality control processes, and ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout the facility. Safety, accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork are critical to success in this position. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments from carriers.
- Perform inventory counting, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Process receiving transactions and document inventory receipts using warehouse management systems.
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming materials and ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Package, label, store, and stage materials according to operational requirements.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems.
- Pick, kit, and ship orders while ensuring inventory integrity and accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks (EPJs), in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Assign appropriate storage locations and conduct inventory audits as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process issues, escalating concerns, and contributing to root-cause analysis activities.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse, inventory, receiving, shipping, or fulfillment center experience .
- Experience with inventory control, receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, and shipping processes.
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a technical environment.
- Basic mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret inventory requirements from Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional relationships.
- Willingness to be trained and operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Commitment to adhering to all workplace safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
- Previous certified forklift operating experience.
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, or receiving operations within the aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors .
