TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience required License: Must have a valid nursing license prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating may occur to nearby facilities as needed, though rarely. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the ER. Only first-time travelers with the required experience will be considered. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Travelers should be prepared to float within the hospital or to an affiliated hospital nearby. The daily patient ratio in the Emergency Room is typically 4 patients per nurse. This role includes care for neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Experience with Care of Ventilated Patients, Continuous IV Sedation, and Triage is preferred. Candidates are expected to manage and interpret dysrhythmias effectively.
