Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As an on-site Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) serving a K–12 school district just outside Augusta, GA, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to implement evidence-based therapy strategies, document student progress, and build a positive educational environment.

In this dynamic, full-time contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week), you will develop professional relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams. Your day-to-day impact will ensure that students not only achieve their individual communication goals, but also thrive in their classroom communities.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLPA license or state-required certification
  • Experience in school-based settings, ideally providing support to SLPs
  • Familiarity with maintaining progress notes and therapy documentation
  • Confidence delivering interventions aligned with IEPs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to working on-site throughout the contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech/language support to students under SLP supervision
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Track and document student progress meticulously
  • Collaborate with educators and related service staff
  • Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional guidelines
