This role operates under the direction of the Office Manager and Administrator, handling day-to-day receptionist and clerical duties in accordance with all current Federal, State, local, and facility regulations and standards. Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Receptionist to join our team. This role operates under the direction of the Office Manager and Administrator, handling day-to-day receptionist and clerical duties in accordance with all current Federal, State, local, and facility regulations and standards. Receptionist Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Follow all facility and departmental policies, guidelines, and directives when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
- Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages.
- Greet visitors and provide directions to locations within the facility.
- Order office supplies and departmental materials as assigned.
- Monitor resident activity near the front door and assist or redirect as necessary.
- File resident, employee, and business records as directed.
- Complete departmental copying assignments.
- Handle mail-related tasks: mailing care plan letters, resident trust letters, rehab letters to physicians, and delivering incoming mail to departments.
- Manage applicant inquiries, distribute/collect applications, and notify department heads of walk-in applicants.
- Maintain and update the resident room board in the lobby.
- Cooperate with personnel to prioritize resident care.
- Immediately report resident incidents or accidents to nursing staff.
- Report any personal injuries to the Office Manager, no matter how minor.
- Report suspected or observed resident abuse immediately to the Administrator or designee.
- Report abusive behavior by residents toward staff or visitors to nursing staff for follow-up.
- Report needed repairs or environmental issues.
- Attend required departmental meetings and in-services; obtain missed materials if absent.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisors.
