You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job responsibilitiesExecutes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshootingWrites secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidanceDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implicationsDrive automation and CI/CD improvements, including pipeline reliability, quality gates, testing strategy, and repeatable environment provisioning to support safe and fast deliveryLeverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automationApplies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexityGathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application developmentLearns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systemsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceDemonstrated and solid experience in C# and .NET technologiesProficient in relational databases and SQLExperienced with AWS services and cloud-native patterns for deployment, monitoring, and scalabilityHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityHands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectationsExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesDemonstrable ability to code in one or more languagesExperience across the whole Software Development Life CycleExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFamiliarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologiesThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
