This role focuses on removing friction across the software delivery lifecycle including tooling, testing, code reviews, documentation, repository guidance, and team collaboration to help engineers build faster and more effectively.The ideal candidate can move between strategy and execution, identify bottlenecks, and drive scalable improvements across teams. They will build a small, high-impact team and lead SG’s approach to engineering acceleration, leveraging AI where it adds value while creating reusable systems, best practices, and measurable gains in productivity.QualificationsBackground That FitsThis role likely fits someone with deep experience across engineering systems, DevX, platform engineering, developer productivity, or internal tooling, with strong working knowledge of modern AI development tools and agentic workflows.A good candidate may come from a few different paths.
