Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support Microsoft Dynamics GP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Dynamics GP development, SQL Server technologies, and .NET development, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex business applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics GP applications and modules.
• Design and implement integrations using eConnect, Integration Manager, and .NET technologies.
• Develop and support customizations using Dexterity and C#/.NET.
• Create, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and T-SQL scripts.
• Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and data integration packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and database issues.
• Support Dynamics GP upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and system configurations.
• Ensure application performance, security, and data integrity across Dynamics GP environments.
• Provide technical support and assist in issue resolution for Dynamics GP users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP development, implementation, and technical support.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP
  • Dexterity
  • eConnect
  • Integration Manager
  • C# / .NET
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:
  • T-SQL programming
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics GP database schema.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to debug complex integrations, custom applications, and database-related issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics GP migration projects, including migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Knowledge of Power BI integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Experience working with financial business processes.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics GP, SQL Server, or .NET development.
