Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Absolut Center of Endicott. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and promoting their well-being and independence.Responsibilities:Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobilityProvide compassionate and respectful care to residents, promoting their dignity and independenceAssist with feeding and hydration as needed, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration for residentsTake and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressureAssist with transferring and positioning residents safely and comfortablyObserve residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to nursing staffMaintain a clean and orderly environment in resident rooms and common areasProvide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activitiesFollow all established protocols and procedures to ensure resident safety and well-beingRequirements:Hold a valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state licensing boardHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProven experience working as a CNA in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff membersCompassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help othersAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamBasic knowledge of medical terminology and proceduresWork Environment:Work in a four-star skilled nursing facility in Endicott, NYCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionalsProvide care to a diverse population of residentsBenefits:$20.50 - $24.50/HRShift differential for evening and nightsA generous amount of PTO timeTuition reimbursementHealth, dental, vision, disability and other insurance401kReferral Bonuses (Refer a friend, get a bonus)Equal Opportunity Employer:We are an equal opportunity employer and fully subscribe to the principles of Equal Opportunity Employment.
