Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Cardiac Catheterization Technician

Perform specialized catheterization and electrophysiology procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and vascular conditions. Provide high-quality patient care while supporting the cardiac and EP labs’ operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct invasive cardiac procedures including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion.
• Assist with electrophysiology studies, device implants, and ablation procedures.
• Operate and monitor equipment such as EPIC CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic data collection.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, sterile techniques, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with physicians during complex interventions and provide procedural support.
• Support patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active license specific to the specialized field.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab and EP procedures.
• Be proficient with EPIC electronic health record systems, particularly CUPID and XPER Witt.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease.
• Be capable of passing a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications; RCIS/RCES preferred but not required.
