Senior Java Engineer
ICONMA
Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Java Engineer for their Irving, TX /Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment.
- Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.
Requirements:
- 10-12 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.
- Java (8+)
- J2EE
- JUnit
- REST & SOAP Web Services
- Hands-on experience with Kafka (Mandatory).
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira (Mandatory).

- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading technical design and delivery initiatives.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
